“We find peace and happiness in the now, between our predictions of the future and reliving our past.”

Sarah Boon, therapeut Amsterdam.

I am Dr. Sarah Boon and I invite you to explore mindfulness with me. Together we create space to reflect on what lives inside you – with an open focus and without judgement. Mindfulness helps you to deal more consciously with stress, automatic patterns and inner turmoil. Under my guidance you will learn to be present in the moment, with everything that presents itself. That opens the door to more peace, clarity and connection with yourself. Scientific studies show that mindfulness is effective for various complaints and for personal growth.

Learn mindfulness in Amstedam

Mindfulness is consciously focusing your attention on the here and now, with an open and friendly attitude. Instead of living on autopilot, you learn to be present with what you think, feel and experience – without immediately judging or wanting to change it. This brings peace, clarity and more resilience in daily life. Mindfulness is not a trick, but a way of life that you can develop step by step through practice and self-exploration.

Private mindfulness training in 8 weeks

Learn mindfulness in a private setting and determine your own pace and times. Do you want to learn to deal with stress in peace, or do you feel the need to dive deeper into yourself and live more consciously? In this individual training I will personally guide you through the 8-week mindfulness program. Each session lasts 75 minutes and consists of explanation, guided exercises and reflection. Because I am a therapist as well as a mindfulness trainer, there is room for extra depth if there is a need for it. You will learn to deal with thoughts and emotions more consciously, and develop more calmness, resilience and self-insight. A moment in the week entirely for you - to stand still, feel and reconnect with who you are.

Mindfulness group training in 8 weeks

Delve deeper together – in a small, safe group. In the 8-week group training, a maximum of six participants come together in my atmospheric studio with comfortable chairs, mats and a heated floor. We start together, so that a feeling of safety and connection can arise from the beginning. Each two-hour session consists of explanation, guided mindfulness exercises and exchange. As a mindfulness trainer and therapist, I offer personal attention, also within the group. You learn to deal more consciously with stress, thoughts and emotions. The group works as a mirror and support: you recognize yourself in others, share experiences and learn together. That gives a feeling of being supported and connected.
